Senior concept artist
All qualifications listed under junior
Minimum of 5 years’ experience of working on published titles
Superior understanding of visual design principles
Superior understanding of light and colour
Ability to capture key moods/elements/lighting in the early stages of your work
Understanding how ideas translate from the conceptual phase to in game content
Ability to produce accurate and detailed callouts
Quickly iterate on ideas and feedback
An eye for detail
Excellent communication skills
A good grasp of 3D software, Blender, ZBrush, etc.
Good communication, time-management, and organizational skills.
Experience of working on published AAA titles
A passion for games
lead concept artist
All qualifications listed under senior
Minimum of 3 years’ experience of working as Lead or similar role on published AAA titles.
Great and inspirational management and leadership skills.
Superior understanding of visual design principles including colour and light.
Complete understanding of how ideas translate from the conceptual phase to in game content.
Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Worked at multiple game companies and have a solid understanding of good working culture and best industry practices.
Junior concept artist
Demonstrate a willingness to give and receive feedback, collaborate with others to share techniques, ideas, and contribute to a positive working environment.
Task driven, self-motivated, and proactive.
Strong knowledge of Photoshop.
Understanding of traditional artistic skills, composition, rendering, anatomy, color theory, perspective, lighting, environment, architectural, character, and graphic design.
Solid drawing fundamentals, along with traditional painting and rendering techniques.
Knowledge of 3D programs, Blender, ZBrush, etc.
Ability to observe, research, and analyze a variety of subject matters (i.e., history, architecture, construction, and how things are made).
